Shoe Dust

The side walks are filled with shoe dust, and the world has, once again, gone crazy. We journey through feet at any distance we can tolerate. To save gas. To exercise. To accompany someone. We create impression that cascade like people going to a mall sale. We create ties with double knots that snap at a second. We are fragile each day, vulnerable to the prowess of every vigilant observer that rests in between authorities.

They do not take notes but they process details. They remember mnemonics that dwell on meaning. They recall acronyms that bear significance. They enjoy the shadows. To defeat the limelight. To hone their invisibility. To heighten the plot. They take pity on attention in order to survive. Their pride is their critics. Their eyes are on you.

And you. Your eyes are discreetly shining where your sight is on focus. Your tongue is the softest, as you swiftly control everyone's lie. Your hands banish the ache of everybody's muscle from the burden of defeat. Your hidden self suits you in the night. You hold the key of each door in the city. To unlock suppresion. To open possibilities. To close regrets. You are destined to take a step.  Yes, you - you fill the side walks with shoe dust each night.
