Fool

The days are questioned and the seasons, numbered. The fire is frozen and the snowflakes, hand-delivered. It was an early morning like no other. The hours are killed and the minutes, hacked. A finger is cut and thrown into a sea of fingers of the same laterality, so as not to advertise hierarchy.

To whom do we give the consent to blink for us? Perhaps to beat for us and even bleed for us? Redefine the art of circulation and cultivate monogamy deep into each antibody. Burn until every pirate cannon lined up in an amusement park become a rebel.

Raise gravity. Freshen up the planet Uranus. Have the eagle play your favorite song. Beat the shadow's hue.

Whichever way, it's all the same --

We are someone's fool.
